Step 1: Schedule Intro Session
At Yankee Fitness Company, we offer one free intro session to any prospective client. In this session we get to know you and if we think you are a good fit for us, we create a customize plan to get you started based on experience (with fitness and CrossFit), injury history, and your goals. The free session is set by appointment only.
Step 2: Discover and Refine
Following the free session, each person is required goes through our new member on-boarding process. This process was customized to you in our intro session and will different person to person. Regardless of experience, these are all 1 on 1 sessions. You will go through a full body assessment and find out why you have had pain in the past or if you are at risk of injury. Then you will go through 1 on 1 sessions to build confidence and competence in the CrossFit movements, intensities, and loads you will perform in class.
Step 3: Execute
Following completion of your your on-ramp, your coach will help guide you to the membership that is most appropriate and you can start coming to classes! You may have your own customized workouts to do with class or you may be follow the standard group program. As long as you are consistent and work hard, this is where the real progress begins! You may also continue doing 1 on 1 personal training sessions if you like during this time!
Step 4: Re-assess
Every three months you will have a 1 on 1 person training session and check in with your coach. We want to make sure you are making progress, being consistent and loving the gym. We also want to give you a chance to voice any concerns so we can make adjustments for the next three months.
